We are recruiting for a Classroom Assistant in the Hemel Hempstead area

We are working with a fantastic SEN School located in the Hemel Hempstead area are looking to hire a Classroom Assistant.

The role of the Classroom Assistant is a full time and long-term role, for an immediate start

This Classroom Assistant role would be perfect for graduates seeking a full time Classroom Assistant role, supporting children with a range of SEN, or if you are someone who loves to support children with their development and want to get into the world of education as a Teaching Assistant.

No previous experience working in a school required, provided that you have a passion for working with children and are willing to support children with a range of SEN.

The Role:

Classroom Assistant supporting children with a range of SEN across different year groups
As a Classroom Assistant you will be required to provide 1:1 help to children with complex and learning difficulties
Work alongside the class teacher to provide engaging, fun and stimulating activities for the children
Display a kind, compassionate and caring personality to all children
A typical Classroom Assistant shift requires you to be adaptable and flexible as each day may ask you to be in a different class depending on the needs of the school

Requirements:

Available Immediately & for fulltime work:

Previous experience as a Classroom Assistant is ideal though not essential provided you have experience with children in some capacity.
Have a good understanding of the key skills and traits required to be a great Classroom Assistant
Have an Enhanced Child Only DBS or be willing to get one processed
Either live in Hemel Hempstead or within a commutable distance

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
