Band 2 - £11.45/hr (Weekdays), £16.14/hr (Saturdays) & £20.95/hr (Sundays & Bank Holidays)
20 hours per week - Monday-Sunday 5 days from 7 working 4 hours/day

Meadowbrook Unit at Salford Royal Hospital is currently seeking a dedicated Domestic Cleaner to join their dynamic team.

As a Domestic Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness within our hospital wards and clinical areas, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for patients, visitors, and staff.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the cleaning of hospital wards and clinical areas, including but not limited to patient rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and communal areas, following established cleaning protocols and schedules.
  • Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to maintain cleanliness and prevent the spread of infections, contributing to the overall safety and wellbeing of patients and staff.
  • Safely use and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, following manufacturer guidelines and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Person Specification:


  • Previous experience in a domestic or similar role, with a proven track record of delivering highquality cleaning services.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with patients, visitors, and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated reliability and a strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet cleaning objectives and deadlines.
