Looking for a new opportunity to lead a Civil Engineering team in Birmingham? Strata Consulting are working with a respected and ambitious multi-disciplinary consultancy in the centre of Birmingham, this is a regional office who are part of a national setup.

They are looking to appoint a talented Associate Director to lead their Civils team in Birmingham.

The company already has a well-established Structures division and is looking for someone who can leverage both new and existing contacts, and transform the current Civils team to a high performing outfit.

You will be the focal point and driving force ofthe Civil Engineering team - responsible for overseeing business development and project delivery.

Ideally, they are looking for an established Civil Engineer with a strong background delivering drainage and infrastructure projects in the residential, commercial, industrial, health and retail sectors to name a few.

In addition to this, you will be confidentbeing the face of the business, someone who is able to represent the company and lead their drive for growth.

Job Requirements/Experience

Ten years' UK experience within a Civil Engineering design consultancy.
Expert experience leading design and delivery of infrastructure and drainage projects, to both public and private sector clients.
Proficient with MicroDrainage and Civil 3D, PDS, Flow, InfoDrainage and/or Site 3D.
Strong working knowledge of Section 38 and 278, for highways.
Strong working knowledge of Section 104 and 106 for drainage.
Proven leadership skills both recruiting experienced hires and developing Engineers.
Have excellent communication skills both written & verbal.
MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
Ideally Chartered with the ICE
