Role:
Payroll Assistant

Salary:
£11.44 per hour

Located:
Sheffield/Remote

Hours:
Full time Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm, Temp to Perm

Key duties and responsibilities:


  • Assist with processing of our monthly payrolls.
  • Maintain payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data.
  • Able to manually calculate and estimate employee takehome pay based on time records, benefits, and employment taxes.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting data and analysing information.

Essential Skill:


  • Experience with capturing and processing HMRC notifications (tax codes, national insurance, student loans etc).
  • Have some prior experience of payroll processing duties in a fastpaced processing team.
  • Able to follow instruction/direction and familiar with processing large volumes of information accurately.
