Description
Job Description:
The Patient Access Clerk will support administration services for radiotherapy, systemic anti-cancer therapy, oncology, and haematology appointments and reception areas.
Responsibilities include ensuring new, follow-up, and treatment patients are identified on the waiting list and booked within specified timeframes. This involves accurate and timely data collection and recording to maximize Trust income.
The clerk will also record patient outcomes, make outpatient follow-up and treatment appointments, update treatment plans and dates, and cancel outpatient/planning clinics due to clinician's leave.
Collaboration with medical, nursing, paramedical, management, and administrative staff across University Hospitals Sussex sites is essential for this role.
