My client is offering full study support, hybrid working and progression.

Description
Reporting into the Finance Manager the Assistant Accountant will have the following duties:

  • Support in the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Providing analysis to help preparation of the accounts
  • Preparing journals, accruals, prepayments for the business
  • Reconciling petty cash
  • Supporting with purchase ledger
  • Weekly and monthly reporting on areas such as marketing, sales and margin analysis
  • Credit card analysis
  • Order book and pricing management control
  • Budgeting and Forecasting

Profile

The successful Assistant Accountant will be/ have:

  • Studying towards CIMA/ACCA
  • not essential
  • Proven track record in similar role
  • Excellent excel skills
  • Experience using an ERP system
  • Ability to work in a team
