We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Digital Designer to work with our fun and inclusive Marketing Team to ensure our branding and selling points are clearly communicated.

You will be pushing the standards of quality and creativity by designing a consistentand respected brand identity while respecting the partners' brand guidelines.

This is a varied role where you will need experience of working within an e-commerce business with a focus on creating designs to help drive conversion and experience to supportand manage two designers,

The main activities and responsibilities for this role are:

  • Push the standard of quality and creativity by designing a consistent and respected brand identity while respecting partners' brand guidelines
  • Manage and support a team of 2 designers
  • Help define a global design strategy for new territories as the business expands.
  • Liaise with stakeholders throughout the business to unearth design requirements and identify areas where we could improve brand consistency and quality.
  • Work with the Marketing Team to ensure our branding and selling points are clearly communicated.
  • Design attractive campaigns and concepts for print and web, based on marketing briefs:
  • Magazine & newspaper press adverts, booklets, leaflets, flyers, posters and merchandise like oyster wallets and more.
  • Ability to adapt existing creative to suit different brand identities & languages

About You

  • You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to present to people from all levels of the business.
  • Experience managing a team of designers and agencies
  • Experience of working within a global ecommerce business with a focus on creating designs to help drive conversion.
  • You will have adapted your designs to work across multiple international source markets and have an understanding of some of the cultural nuances that can affect performance from one market to the next.
  • Experience working on largescale, high budget campaigns across digital and out of home.
  • A great eye for and proficiency in creating standout web banners over multiple platforms and formats.
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, mainly Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines in a fastmoving environment
  • Strong understanding of mobile / responsive design best practices.
  • Willing to go looking for missing information and communicate it to allow a transparent communication at all levels so the project keeps moving forward

Other desirable skills

  • Knowledge of HTML & CSS
  • Familiarity with current and emerging technologies, such as mobile / responsive design.
  • Previous experience in the travel industry is a bonus

circa £50,000 depending on experience
