We are currently recruiting for an experienced
General Administrator (Shipping & Packing) to join us at busy and exciting time; This is a permanent, full-time position, working within a friendly and supportive team.


This role will primarily take the lead of the packing and shipping of our products to domestic and international customers, working to strict schedules and deadlines.

The role will also include the visual checks of our components.

What will the role involve?

  • Picking and packing certain goods/products from stores for packing and shipping
  • Take the lead on packing our Spindles and other components on a regular basis, including spare parts
  • Regularly work to strict order and delivery schedules, ensuring these are frequently checked and adhered to
  • Organizing and booking shipping with preferred courier and effective internal & external communication of shipping schedules and status updates
  • Controlling the stock of packing materials and ensure requirements for stock are raised with the purchase administrator
  • Operate relevant packaging equipment
  • Support the visual inspection checks of a variety of components
  • Any other duties as requested by you're the relevant manager to facilitate the needs of the business

What will you require?

  • Experience working in a similar role within export/import is desirable
  • Good administration skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible attitude with the ability to adapt to change and work well as part of a team
  • Be a Selfmotivated team player
  • Ability to operate with the minimum of supervision
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with employees at all levels
  • IT literate
