Our Distribution Control Centre North (DCCN) is responsible for the management and control of SHEPD's high voltage Distribution system.
Due to our continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Support Assistant to join our team in Perth.
As a member of our Commissioning Team you would be responsible for a wide range of operational duties, primarily the cartographic maintenance of the DCCN's network management systems.
You will also be responsible for the configuration and commissioning of primary and secondary remotely controlled equipment, enabling delivery of a safe and reliable interface for 24/7 Distribution system operations and safety.
You will work closely with our team of Control Engineers and the regional operational staff, as well as our colleagues in Operational Technology.
There is the opportunity for the right applicant to develop their engineering career within the Control Room environment.

- An excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise flexible deadlines while maintaining high levels of excellence.
- An analytical/methodical approach to problem solving and the ability to work effectively when faced with pressurised situations.
- The ability to work independently while maintaining a high degree of accuracy is essential.
