Job Overview:


  • We are currently seeking a Grounds Operative on a fix term Contract to join our team at one of the PFI School based in East London.

Main Duties

  • Litter picking
  • Cleaning of the external area and benches
  • Snow clearance/gritting of the external play area
  • Emptying external bins after breaks
  • Ensuring that the sites external area are kept clean and free from waste
  • Report any graffiti to your Line Manager
  • Jet wash external areas where required
  • Up keeping of the

What we are looking for:


  • Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times;
  • Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment;
  • Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received;
  • Ensure compliance with Mitie's information security procedures in all activities;
  • Proactively identify and report security risks to your manager;
  • Attention to detail
