Systems Administrator

Cambridge outskirts

A Cambridgeshire based software company are looking for a Systems Administrator to join their team They're looking for a highly technical individual and a keen problem solver.

Working in a fairly small IT team with an IT apprentice, another Systems Admin and the CIO, you will be responsible for all areas of IT and infrastructure support, as well as interesting project work, including Azure migrations and continuous improvement projects.

You will be joining a very welcoming and supportive team, who have a flexible and relaxed working set-up, but you would be expected to be in the office 5 days a week, due to one of the responsibilities being the go-to person for the IT Apprentice You will also be rewarded with a full benefits package including 9% pension scheme, pizza days, professional certifications, free parking, electric vehicle scheme and more


Main Responsibilities:


  • All aspects of IT Support, from 1st line to Infrastructure projects
  • Windows Server deployments and troubleshooting
  • Manage and maintain the IT Infrastructure and Systems
  • Support the Azure migration project
  • Continuous improvement projects
  • Support the IT apprentice acting as a 'team lead' for them

Essential Skills:


  • Confident working with Windows Servers (On prem and virtual)
  • Azure
  • Active Directory and Azure AD

  • Excellent communication skills
