MTrec Commercial is proudly representing our incredibly prestigious Newcastle based client with their plans for growth and expansion, for their state-of-the-art Customer Service operation.


They are now looking to recruit a permanent Claims Handleras soon as possible to join their highly trained team and to work in an unbelievable office environment.

The calls are generally warm, friendly and enquiry based, with longer term relationships established with your customers.

The company are looking for committed and hard-working customer service orientated individuals who are lookingfor a long-term permanent job opportunity.


Your NewRole:


  • Handling of claims up to given limits and referral where necessary.
  • Managing inbound and outbound telephone calls to assist in swift closure of claims and to reduce any unnecessary costs of the claim.
  • On receipt of a new Claim, contact customers where necessary to obtain any further information to assist liability decision.
  • Handling own portfolio of claims using "chase"/diary system to ensure claims are closed at the earliest possible time and in cost effective way.
  • Reviews all claims on the monthly claims review list in accordance with guidelines.
  • Provide support to customers.
  • Provide the latest advice, updates, and information to your customers.
  • Resolve any queries.
  • Build longterm relationships with your clients.
  • Ensure all areas of compliance are completed fully.
  • Update all systems with accurate information.

About You:


  • Experience within a claims background.
  • An essential requirement is being able to demonstrate good longevity and tenure in your job roles.
  • Confident telephone manner and to be able to present to your customers in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills.
  • Key qualities to possess for the role are a positive, friendly and customer orientated attitude.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • A proactive attitude with a selfstarter attitude.
  • You will be looking for a longterm career move.
