Description

The School of Health Sciences wishes to appoint a Lecturer in Speech and Language Therapy (T&S) to join the Division of Psychology, Communication and Human Neuroscience at the University of Manchester.


The successful applicant will become a key member of the SLT team and will carry out teaching and student support duties across the SLT programmes.

They will provide cutting-edge teaching, and will be expected to make a contribution to curriculum development and the development and evaluation of innovative teaching methodologies as appropriate to the level of the post.


The post holder is likely to make a specific contribution to the teaching of fundamental areas of linguistics that are core to the curriculum in all three years of the BSc programme (i.e.theoretical and clinical linguistics and phonetics, typical and atypical language acquisition and psycholinguistics), although specific teaching duties will be dependent on the skillset of the successful applicant.
