MMP Consultancy are currently seeking Complex Works Manager for a North London public sector housing organisation. £400 per day LTD (Inside IR35).
Working between office, site and home.
About the role

Managing a share of the backlog of circa Disrepair cases as part of a team including Damp and Mould cases.
Take full control of the schedule of rates and delivery of works
Work with the contractors to engage in effective delivery service.
Coordination of the delivery of works.
Management of the supply chain.
Record keeping and document checking for legal process.
Manage tenant engagement and ensure high calibre customer service.
Receives support from Legal Team with the strategy on how to approach certain cases if court orders are involved.
Deliver a highquality customer focused repairs and maintenance service to act as essential technical support to the Repairs and Operations
Service and across Property Services. This is a lead support function to the Repairs and Operations Managers, North and South, will oversee a range of technical surveying functions.
Pre and postcondition inspections of works, with focus on quality and cost, including but not limited to checks on asbestos management, CDM regulations and void specification brief(s).
Undertake and monitor proactively the client responsibilities for all contracts within the posts remit.

Essential:

Extensive experience in delivering complex/repairs service for social housing.
Understanding of disrepair legislation, Including a sound knowledge of:
The Landlord and Tenant Act 198
Defective premises Act 197
Detailed Knowledge and understanding of pre and post-inspection processes, building pathology and repairs techniques.
Detailed Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities in relation to construction and Construction Design and Management (CDM) regulations.
