Graduate Teaching Assistant Required for Barnet based school

Are you a Graduate seeking a role in a mainstream primary school?
Are you committed to enhancing the learning experience of children with additional needs?


NOW Education are currently seeking a keen Graduate who is looking to progress in Education, to take on the role of a Learning Support Assistant and provide 1:1 support to SEN pupils in a primary school.


I am looking for someone who is confident supporting children with challenging needs and can incorporate "firm but fair" approach to learning.

If you don't have experience, but have a great 'can-do' attitude, we will still consider you

About the role:

  • Support a group of children with ASD
  • SEN training offered to new LSA's
  • Prepare and deliver intervention sessions
  • Plan activities in line with the pupils' EHCP
  • Support other pupils in class where necessary
  • Help to set up and tidy up at the start and end of lessons
Teaching Assistant Role Barnet


Salary:
£80.00-£110.00 per day


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Barnet,

Greater London:
reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)


Education:


  • Diploma of Higher Education (preferred)

Experience:

- child related: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
