Gas & Oil Trading Business Analyst
£700 - £750 Inside IR35

Do you have a passion for the energy sector, with a deep understanding of gas trading, deal modelling, and ETRM? If so, we want to hear from you

Our fast-growing gas and trading business is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team.

As a Business Analyst, you'll be responsible for analyzing market trends, providing insights into pricing and demand, and supporting our team in making informedtrading decisions.


To succeed in this role, you'll need to have a strong understanding of the gas industry and experience in deal modelling, risk management, and ETRM.

You'll be responsible for ensuring our business operates efficiently, profitably, and competitively in arapidly changing market.

Key responsibilities of a Gas & Oil Trading Business Analyst:

  • Analyze market trends and provide insights into pricing and demand
  • Provide support in making informed trading decisions
  • Deep understanding of Gas Trading
  • Significant hands on experience with Gas Traders capturing business requirements
  • Develop deal models and provide input to risk management strategies
  • Collaborate with traders and other team members to execute trades and manage positions
  • Continuously monitor and assess the efficiency of our ETRM systems and processes
Qualifications of a Gas & Oil Trading Business Analyst:

  • In-depth knowledge of ETRM systems and processes
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
