Position:
Stock Assistant


Location:
Dobbies Lane, Marks Tey CO6 1EP


Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and control the incoming and outgoing stock to ensure accuracy and timely processing.

Maintain optimal stock levels to support business operations and prevent stockouts or overstocking.

Conduct regular outdoor stock counts, ensuring all items are accounted for and identifying any discrepancies.

Locate and retrieve missing stock items, ensuring the warehouse remains organized and efficient.

Liaise between the master warehouse and office teams to ensure smooth communication and operations.

Ensure safe handling and storage of products, considering their nature and outdoor placement.

Assist in preparing stock reports and inventory analysis.

Collaborate with the procurement team and suppliers for restocking and addressing any quality issues.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance stock control and warehouse efficiency.


Qualifications and Skills:

Prior experience in stock control or warehousing is an advantage.

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.

Effective communication skills.

Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure.

A strong team player with the ability to bridge communication between different teams.

Familiarity with inventory management software is a plus.

£22,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
