Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Carpenters and Joiners to join our team. As a Joiner, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling various wooden structures and components.

This is a hands-on role that requires proficiency in carpentry and the ability to work with a variety of tools and materials.

Duties:

• Measure, cut, and shape wood materials according to specifications
• Construct and assemble wooden structures such as doors, windows, cabinets, and furniture
• Install wooden components, including frames, trims, and moldings
• Ensure all finished products meet quality standards and adhere to safety regulations
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, to complete projects
• Repair or replace damaged wooden structures or components as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:

• Proficiency in roof construction techniques
• Knowledge of plumbing systems and installation
• Experience in masonry work for building foundations or walls
• Basic understanding of electrical systems for wiring purposes
• Familiarity with hand tools such as hammers, saws, chisels, and screwdrivers
• Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively
• Capability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
• Strong carpentry skills for precise cutting, shaping, and joining of wood materials
• Knowledge of painting techniques for finishing touches on wooden surfaces
• Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings accurately

£39,000.00-£44,000.00 per year
