As the Evergreen Compliance Officer, you would be working alongside the Short and Long Let property managers, to ensure every property complies with the ever-changing rules and regulations within the property sector.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures inline with National guidelines
- Conduct regular property audits to ensure adherence to the Repairing Standard and beyond.
- Ensure your knowledge is always up to date so you can perform and advise accordingly on any new or changed legislation.
- Investigate and resolve compliance issues or violations
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations and update policies accordingly
- Collaborate with internal teams, external contractors and tenants to ensure property compliance is always adhered to
- Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory agencies
- Proven experience working in a compliance role or within a letting agency with personal responsibility for compliance of a portfolio of properties
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information
They will also provide training to employees, investigate compliance issues, and ensure that the company is in line with all applicable laws and regulations.

From £12.00 per hour
