Due to a staff member career progression within the team an opportunity has arisen to work as a Senior Practitioner for Nursing in Salford Older Adults Community Mental Health Team.
The team are looking for a Nurse who is passionate about further developing the Nursing role in our CMHT, working with our experienced and committed Nurses.
You will be working alongside the Team Manager and Senior Practitioners to deliver a quality mental health service for older adults across Salford.
Service improvement and development is a focus within the team, and you will be expected to contribute to this, leading on identified projects where appropriate.
Support will be provided by the Senior Management Team within CMHT and across older adult services in Salford.The post holder will:
- Provide clinical leadership, supervision, support, and consultation to nursing and MDT staff in CMHT.
- Lead on identified projects and pathways within CMHT.
- Complete any delegated management duties as required.
- Complete line management and clinical supervision for identified staff.
- Manage a small caseload and provide support to other staff around complex cases.
- Complete RCA investigations, complaints management, audits, and requested reports as required.
- Participate in the BOS/BOC rotas.
