Do you want to join a small marketing team of the world's leading manufacturer of high-end audio products here at PMC? Our products are sold globally through a network of distributors, and you will find PMC products in the leading recording studios and homes of music artists worldwide.

PMC clients include such luminaries as Stevie Wonder, Robbie Williams, Elton John Tony, and many more. Corporate clients include the BBC, Apple, Google, Capitol Studios LA, and Metropolis London, to name but a few. In addition, PMC distributes several complimentary audio brands in the UK that are sold via specialist audio retailers.

We are now on the hunt for a creative, Marketing assistant to join our marketing team.


Working in conjunction with the Creative director you will help to shape, support, and deliver marketing plans across the PMC business.


Key responsibilities will include:


  • Monitoring & compiling reports showing the KPI's using Google Analytics and data from external marketing agencies to determine future promotional activities.
  • Manage PMC's and dealer/distributors news and liaise with external digital marketing agency for them to exploit.
  • Updating and monitoring project budgets and marketing plans.
  • Update the company websites and digital asset library.
  • Respond to website enquiries.
  • With a brief, provide copy, edit
- copy for creation of eblasts, website content, social media, and other promotional materials.

  • Liaise with our retailers and distributors and provide the most relevant marketing materials and distribute.
  • Research market trends, web stats, demographics, pricing, and other relevant information that assist with formulation of marketing plans.
  • Organise, prepare and attend events such as conferences and exhibitions, UK & overseas.
  • With a brief, create, deliver & analyse surveys, polls, and other market research to look for patterns and trends.
  • Maintain global show schedule by liaising with retailers & distributors regarding their shows/events.
  • Manage marketing show / demo / promo and review inventory.
  • Event/show preparation and day to day post, dispatch.
  • Maintain the brand values and reputation of PMC and 3rd party brands PMC represent in the UK & worldwide.
  • Get your hands dirty occasionally with handson event/show preparation and day to day post, dispatch prep etc.

  • Good time management skills, including the ability to divide time effectively between reporting, planning and delivery.
  • Have a creative and analytical mind with a willingness to think of new ways of doing things.
  • A high level of professionalism, reliability and dependability with a customer focussed attitude.
  • Good communication skills, both oral & written
  • Desire to learn and progress skills & experience within a fastpaced environment.

Qualifications and experience

  • Postgraduate degree or equivalent Marketing qualification.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a marketing/sales/business administration role.
  • Good experience of the MS office suite; Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experience of use of marketing automation tools such as Hootsuite, Hubspot, MailChimp, Google Analytics is desirable.
  • Familiar with the use of social media platforms for business.
  • A team player able to evidence highest levels of collaborative working.
  • Prepared to travel in the UK and overseas to assist with events/shows.
  • Clean driving licence preferable
