Job Title Quality Assurance Officer


Location Smart Awards - Kenilworth/Coventry


Reports to Quality Manager


Purpose of the role

To support the quality and compliance activity in a way that represents Smart Awards as a robust, confident, professional and strong Awarding and EPA organisation.


Responsibilities

  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction in the delivery of Smart Awards quality assurance services
  • Conduct compliance activity in a way that represents Smart Awards as a robust, confident, professional and strong Awarding Organisation
  • Oversee, manage and reduce regulatory risks to the business
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and engagement with all regulatory bodies.
  • Ensuring that robust quality assurance systems operate across all aspects of the business
  • To extract data from systems and produce reports as requested by the regulators.
  • Contribute to the preparation of information required for internal or external audits by regulatory authorities
  • Carry out risk based and random IQA audits
  • Implement, maintain and improve policies and procedures and monitor their effectiveness
  • Support the management of systems that support quality and compliance
  • Support centre approval process
  • Support the quality assurance across both awarding and end point assessment functions.

Education

  • Knowledge of regulatory context for UK qualifications
  • IQA qualification or equivalent
  • EQA qualification desirable
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements regarding awarding organisation recognition of Quality Assurance
  • Experience working in the education or training sector

Pay:
£25,000.00-£32,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • Kenilworth, CV1 8NP: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
