Commercial Financial Analyst. £35k to £40k, plus 15% bonus

Options to be based Portchester, Jersey or Guernsey.

We're looking for someone to provide analysis of a food retail business at the product and category level. This will include provision of management information to have effective inputs to budgeting and planning. The role will also include business partneringand support for the critically important Foods Buying Function.

Principle Accountabilities

Timely and Accurate Management Information (daily, weekly, period reporting)
Commercial analysis and insight
Business Partnering of the Foods Buying Function
Period end close of specific areas such as distribution, RTC and Waste
Input to Budgets and forecasts

Responsibilities include

Commercial analysis of key areas e.g. sales trends, margin and category performance on a

product level and distribution for Food Retail division

Input & Preparation of Budgets and Forecasts for Food Retail focussed on category/product

level Sales, Margin, RTC & Waste

System processing of invoices and accurate record keeping for distribution
Balance sheet reconciliations for specific accounts such as but not limited to distribution
Preferably part or fully qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CA
Commercial analysis role in a Retail Business
Experience manipulating large quantities of data
