Compliance Assistant
We are looking for a Compliance Assistant to join our Compliance Manager in travelling to all of our sites in the South across: Sussex, Kent, Hampshire and Wiltshire.
Crawley and currently temporarily based in
East Grinstead. Therefore, the applicant will be required to have a drivers license and access to their own vehicle. We are looking for someone with clinical, dental experience for the role.
To assist the manager of compliance and governance with monitoring practices to ensure they are abiding to the regulations and prevent any illegal activity to occur in the workplace.
The compliance Manager and yourself will be responsible in ensuring that practices remain compliant with CQC and NHS regulations.
Your main job responsibilities will include:
- Advisor to Practice Managers on all compliance queries and issues
- Mock inspections at practices to ensure sites are compliant with the manager and alone too
- Training Managers on compliance and ensuring they are CQC registered Managers
- Drafting and implementing policies and procedures
- Identifying compliance violations and data breaches and oversee the corrective actions
- Carrying out relevant audits and risk assessments
- Oversee and manage compliance trackers (DCME portal)
- Implementing regulatory changes
- Working alongside HR department collaborating on the monitoring and enforcement of compliance regulations
- To carry out investigations and oversee corrective actions for any compliance violations and / or data breaches identified
- Having meetings and working with CQC, DCME and your manager to prepare sites ahead of inspections.
You are reimbursed mileage at the rate of £0.45 per mile from either Head Office or your home address depending on what is closer to the practice you are travelling to.
Essential skills/Experience/Qualifications- Governance and compliance knowledge (Desirable)
- Experience within a CQC regulated workplace (Essential)
- Good oral and written communication skills (Essential)
- Experience of drafting and implementing policies (Desirable)
- Line management experience (Desirable)
- Experience of equality and diversity and complaints handling (Desirable)
Salary:
£24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
