Management Accountant opportunity offering long-term career progression within a modern growing Chartered Accountancy & Advisory Practice.

THE COMPANY
A growing firm of Chartered Accountants & Business Advisors with an established presence in the Northwest region.

The firm acts for SME and Mid-market Corporate businesses up to c.£50m t/o and provides its clients with fully bespoke financial managementsolutions in addition to Audit, Accounts, Tax and M&A / Corporate Finance services.

THE OPPORTUNITY

A Management Accountant opportunity has arisen which will offer long-term career progression and a leadership role within the Small Business Department.

As a Management Accountant you will provide a small portfolio of clients with bespoke tailored solutionsto enable Business Owners and Management Teams to understand the financial performance of their business and make effective decisions.

Duties & Responsibilities will involve:

Producing detailed Management Accounts for SME clients and presenting to Business Owners / Management Teams at Board Meetings.
Advising clients on financial systems and implementing robust processes and controls to improve visibility and enhance the financial operation of their business.
Working with clients seeking to raise finance, preparing cashflow forecasts and projections for review by lenders / banks.
Developing strong working relationships with clients and offering additional services as appropriate

THE PERSON
You will be an Accountancy professional able to demonstrate the following:

Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or QBE
Background within Accountancy Practice and possibly Industry (c.5 years experience)
Significant experience of working with and advising SME and Owner-Managed businesses
Strong client communication skills
Leadership and Management qualities
