This is an exciting time at Newcastle United as we look for talented individuals to help us on our journey.

To help us deliver on our ambitious plans we have a fantastic opportunity for Cleaning Assistants to join our Venue Operations team at St.

James' Park.


As a Cleaning Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our stadium is a clean and welcoming environment.

You will have an allocated area within the stadium to carry out your cleaning duties to ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained.

This will include working outside and inside the stadium.

Cleaning activities include but are not limited to; litter picking around the stadium, cleaning the stadium concourse emptying bins, cleaning toilets, vacuuming and furnishing floors.

You will have previous experience of working in a janitor / cleaning assistant role in a fast-paced environment. You will be proactive, with strong communication skills and can deliver high levels of customer service.

You will need to be able to work well with mínimal supervision and manage your time effectively to ensure your cleaning duties are fulfilled.


In addition to your standard hours, you will need to work a rotation of home matchdays, post cleans, special events and functions, which will be dictated by a rota.


We are looking to cover the following:
Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4pm at St James Park.


Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday - 9am - 11am, Saturday 8am - 10am and Sunday 9am - 11am in Shearers Bar.
