Description

Grimshaw, an award-winning, global architecture practice, located in Farringdon, London, are looking for an experienced, interim 'Head of Business Systems' to join the team based in London.

Key aspects of the role:

Lead a team of systems professionals to ensure that the user base understand, use, and benefit from the systems that Grimshaw use to work effectively.
Monitor, manage, implement, and evaluate systems to ensure that they are fit for purpose, align with Grimshaw's strategic vision, and are secure, user friendly and well documented.
Consult with stakeholders to define the roadmap for developing systems software and measuring user satisfaction.
Produce analytical reports to benchmark compliance, set targets and monitor trends related to our systems and financial data.
Support, maintain and evolve existing systems; Finance System (Dynamics 365 Business Central), Business Intelligence Tool (Qlik), Digital Image Library (Open Asset), CRM/Project Management Platform (CMAP), HRIS system (People HR) etc,
Manage budgeting, forecasting and resource allocation activities.

Required Skills:

Minimum of 10 years' experience managing interface development, system integration, and operations in a medium to large organisation.
Extensive knowledge of enterprise systems architecture; HRIS, CRM, Finance systems and BI platforms.
Experience with API integration, SQL coding, managing large databases inc. advanced Excel skills.
Highly organised, with a proven ability to achieve strategic objectives.
Excellent communication skills with both technical and nontechnical staff.
Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.

The following skills would also be an advantage:

Additional project management, software development certifications.
Experience working in the architecture, engineering, or construction field.
Appreciation of finance systems, workflows and terminology.
Operational experience with the following systems:
CMAP (ERP)
Qlik (Business Intelligence Analytics)
PeopleHR (HRIS)
Newforma (Project Management)
Open Asset (Image Library)
Microsoft Dynamics 365/Business Central (Finance)
Interact (Intranet)
Forms and Workflows (Any)
