Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Production Team Leader to join our team to supervise of all factory production duties, from storage and expansion of raw materials, production of block requirements and daily management of cutting lines.
Role holds high responsibility, ensuring materials are produced in-line with production demands.General and Task Management
- To be able to delegate tasks efficiently.
- Leading a team in a time orderly manner to get tasks completed to a high standard.
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Computer literate and basic maths skills essential
- Achieving deadlines and target driven results.
- Oversee and coordinate the production process
- Problemsolving skills to identify and resolve production issues
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Train new employees on production processes and safety procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize production efficiency
- Undertake continuous training and development as required
- Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors.
Relationship Management
- Work as part of the Howden team, effective communication between production operatives and senior management is role essential.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure an effective interface with other departmental staff is maintained.
- Stay current and up to date on any changes that may affect the supply and demand of needed products and materials and advise others of any impact.

- Support, comply and ensure complicity with Health & Safety regulations, the Company Handbook, Quality and Environmental standards, and all other Company policies and procedures.

Measurable Outputs
- OTIF
- H&S and hazard reporting
- Resolving Quality complaints and feedback
- Ensures operational KPIs are monitored working to agreed target.
Hours/salary
6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am, Mon-Fri rotating weekly
Salary negotiable DOE
