Description

Our client, an award-winning Wealth Management business that offer quality financial planning and investment advice is looking to recruit an experienced IT professional.

As a
Senior IT Technician / Manager you will report directly to the Head of Operations and Board, predominantly providing remote support to the business.

Role & Responsibilities

Supporting the user base with a positive and friendly attitude
1 stand 2 ndline support, desktop support, troubleshooting, security monitoring
Using initiative to prioritise your supportdesk workload
Recording and sharing solutions to issues
Maintaining IT documentation
Monitoring and acting on a range of security and performance monitoring solutions
Liaising with 3 rdparty solution providers to resolve problems
Being flexible and adaptable with great attention to detail
Providing IT Training when required
Developing and installing new hardware or software to update and improve the functionality of the systems
Building robust systems
Any other IT related tasks
Supporting with onsite facilities when required

Experience required:

Relevant experience in a similar role, ideally in a regulated / professional services environment
Networking protocols
Virtualisation
Server (Cloud based) & Windows

Hours:

21 hours per week (Flexible)

Location:
Remote (Ideally North West Based) (Offices based in Cheshire, Gloucester & Cheltenham) (Must be able to travel when required)
