A scientific organisation based in Kent is currently recruiting for a professional contractor to join them on an interim basis for approx.

6months as a Head of Finance focussing on reporting


Working as part of a small but busy team and reporting directly to the Group FC and MD you will work with the management team to help create financial budgets, forecasting and strategic plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely, accurate and insightful aggregated financial reporting for senior management
  • Provide Finance business partnering to support the nonfinance leadership team
  • Financial reporting and control for both the business and two small subsidiaries including reporting packs
  • Liaise with Group auditors to ensure smooth and efficient audit of the site
  • Submission of Tax packs


As the successful contractor you must show a strong understanding of IFRA as well as knowledge of UK direct and indirect tax.

You must be able to challenge the normal whilst being able work in cohesion with team members and senior management.


You must be a qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA or ACCA equivalent) and experience within a manufacturing or production environment is desirable.

You must also be able to commit to a minimum of 6 months and be able to work in the office 5-days a week.
