The post holder is responsible for providing efficient and effective management of patient safety incidents within the organisation.The post holder is also responsible for the provision of advice, support and training to staff, and contributing to the patient safety agenda in the analysis of lessons to be learned from patient safety incidents.
To work alongside and support the Patient Safety Lead in providing a high quality service to all key stakeholders and users across the organisation.
To provide advice to the organisation regarding legislation, guidance and the regulatory framework to improving clinical standards and patient safety.
South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers leadership and improvement training to all new staff to the Trust; this training programme has been designed to support our leaders in developing their understanding of leadership and management skills.

After you complete this four and a half days of training you will be able to explore further leadership and improvement training opportunities, we offer further in-house courses dependent upon your role and bitesize programmes and leadership apprenticeships at level 3,5 and 7.
