Description
The post holder is responsible for providing efficient and effective management of patient safety incidents within the organisation.

The post holder is also responsible for the provision of advice, support and training to staff, and contributing to the patient safety agenda in the analysis of lessons to be learned from patient safety incidents.


To work alongside and support the Patient Safety Lead in providing a high quality service to all key stakeholders and users across the organisation.

Deputising at meetings where appropriate and working alongside the Safe & Effective Care Leads within the Collaboratives.


To provide advice to the organisation regarding legislation, guidance and the regulatory framework to improving clinical standards and patient safety.

The post holder commits to uphold the values of the NHS and abide by the NHS Constitution.
