Part Time, 7.5 hours per week (0.2wte)

The DCP workstream provides a range of education provision which includes pre and post registration training for dental nurses, orthodontic therapists, practice managers and receptionists.
Utilising digital technologies, our blended learning programmes provide a flexible and sustainable approach for our learners and their employers across Scotland.
This post will contribute to the development and delivery of the Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy programme provided by the workstream.
The Dental Tutor will support the Specialist Tutor in the delivery, assessment and quality assurance of the programme, which will include using a range of methods and technologies to support the training and assessment of students.
We are seeking a GDC registered orthodontic therapist with an active post registration portfolio who also has a keen interest in learning and development.
As an effective team player, you will possess excellent organisational, communication and digital skills. Some experience of online learning would be valuable.
You will be expected to deal with a range of queries from a variety of professionals in a courteous and professional manner.
Joining a highly dynamic team within NHS Education for Scotland you will work with the Specialist Lead, Lead DCP Tutors, Dental Tutors, National Workstream Lead, and Business Support Teams to plan and deliver DCP education and training, ensuring a consistent approach is delivered in all centres, through standardised processes.
