Micropress Printers Limited is a leading printing company, and we are currently seeking a skilled Digital Print Operator to join our team.

As a Digital Print Operator, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality finished products from digital flat sheet printing, such as stitched booklets, PUR bound books, bound calendars and books, laminated covers, and other processes.


Responsibilities:


  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the timely and accurate production of finished products.
  • Adhere to quality control standards to ensure finished products meet customer requirements.
  • Stay calm and focused in a pressured environment.
  • Maintain digital printing equipment, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Monitor and adjust printing parameters, such as colour calibration, ink levels, and image alignment, to achieve optimal results.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished prints, identifying and addressing any defects or errors.
  • Maintain inventory of printing supplies and materials, and place orders as needed.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and confidentiality.

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as a Digital Print Operator or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in operating digital printing equipment, such as printers, copiers, and finishing equipment.
  • Strong understanding of print production processes, including file preparation, colour management, and finishing techniques.
  • Knowledge of various printing substrates and materials.
  • Proficient in using graphic design software and print production software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
