We are supporting our client, a Lloyd's global market leading Insurer, in their search for a legal claims handler to join the business in their amazing London offices on a full-time, flexible hybrid basis.

You will be utilising your experience from a legal background to cover matters across a variety of areas.

As a legal claims handler, you will be responsible for assisting on assessing and managing indemnity provided to policyholders for the purpose of pursuing a range of legal action including employment, property and contractual dispute to practice investigations.

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the legal claims support and supporting the broader placing team, whilst liaising with solicitors, brokers and underwriters.

Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Assisting the development of the team by supporting on policy wordings, drafting and negotiating solutions to clients/ underwriters /brokers issues.
Ensuring various claims and settlements are dealt with effectively and efficiently
Dealing with claims from cradle to grave, which involves the validity of the claim, where a claims is accepted and maintaining a regular review of Its validity.
Taking on any other adhoc requirements needed by the business to support the Claims side
