Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Materials Control Assistant to join the Supply Chain team.

This person will be responsible for Stores transactions and materials distribution to the business to guarantee production targets are achieved, i.e.

Production, Quality and Engineering and will assist the Materials Controller with ad hoc inventory control based projects.

Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Supplying production with stock as required in a timely manner, from T-cards and Requisitions.
Computerised inventory transactions at point of movement.
Analyse and resolve Material issues such as stock loss, transaction errors.
Advise Purchasing of any shortages or stock loss from the Stores area.
Assist Machine Shop with Stock related matters.
Carry out the company's weekly Cycle Count activities, including analysis to Corrective actions.
Assist with GI duties when appropriate.
Manage the Materials PUSH report and all actions relating to.
Obsolete Stock Reporting and Control
Finished Goods Monthly Review and Liaison with Production Teams
Ensuring Quarantined Stock is accurate and controlled.
T-Card Maintenance and renewal (advise Material Controller of issues)
5S in all Stock Locations and surrounding areas, to include cleaning.
