About the Client and Role:


My client, a global events company is seeking 2 x
Cyber Security Consultantsto join their newly forming in-house cyber security team, as part of a
Security Operations Centre (SOC) environment.


With only 2 years previous experience required, this is a great opportunity for upcoming security professionals looking to make a career leap, and sharpen their skill set with a big name client.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:


  • Deployment and support of operational cyber security tooling
  • Monitoring alerts, logs and investigation of incidents
  • Promoting cyber security across the business
  • Identify and assess emerging cyber security threats and vulnerabilities that could affect the business and users of its information
  • Contributing to the cyber security vulnerability program across the business
  • Develop and contribute to Security Operations Centre (SOC) activities, SIEM and IDS/IPS
  • Assist in the coordination of security penetration testing activities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of information security policies, processes, governance standards and frameworks
  • Advise stakeholders / departments on security requirements and controls, providing information security guidance across IT operations and new projects
