Become part of a fast-growing company that plays a fundamental role in shaping our future Together with more than 180 colleagues from 35 nationalities, we enable EV drivers around Europe to fast-charge their vehicle with renewable energy and lead the way in making mobility sustainable. In this role you will help us design our big & bright electric charging stations to meet our goal of a European network of 1,000 fast charging stations on prime locations. Fastned is a fast growing, listed scaleup company and is currently active in eight countries (UK, Netherlands, Germany, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy and Spain).

Your role:

Your role as an Urban Planner is crucial to our multidisciplinary team.

In your day to day job, you will spend most of your time with our local London team, consisting of architects, architectural technologists, expansion managers and construction managers.

Besides that, you will also be connected to our design teams in other countries. Become part of a young, innovative and growing company in the field of e-mobility We move fast - and deliver WOW

Key Responsibilities:

Keep in track of planning conditions and their discharge
Developing Fastned's relationship with LPAs
Assessing the feasibility of potential sites in the planning context
Being the goperson for all matters relating to planning and planning policy

You are not afraid to make mistakes and you are always keen to keep on learning. "Think like a founder" is something you identify easily with.

Additionally, you tick the following boxes:

More than 8 years of experience in similar roles
RTPI accreditation preferred
You are passionate and opinionated about enabling great design and place making
You speak (near)native English and you have outstanding communication skills
You are able to convey complex matters in simple terms
You are able to produce information accurately, on time and first time, according to the project programme
You are able to work independently and selfcritically as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team; able to prioritise your own schedule and commit to deadlines
You are happy to pitch in and get things done We are a small but dynamic team and do what it takes to implement our mission
