Temporary Receptionist (2-Week Holiday Cover) Temp

Newbury
Duration: 2 Weeks (Starting on 19th Feb)
Shifts: 8am to 5pm with a 1-hour break

Our client, an International Information Technology firm in Newbury, is seeking a seasoned Receptionist for a temporary role covering a 2-week holiday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors professionally and with a friendly demeanor
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide information to callers
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing
- Maintain office supplies and inventory
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars
- Assist with data entry and recordkeeping
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Provide administrative support to staff as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of reception experience
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Proficient in computerized systems and software, including QuickBooks, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Accurate typing skills with a focus on attention to detail
- Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role is preferred
