Halifax

Circa £28,000 - £35,000 (Full Time Equivalent)

Specialist Accountancy Practice recruitment consultancy Clark Wood are working with a long established firm of chartered accountants who are looking to add a Part Time Accounts Senior / Accounts Technician to their team in Halifax.

The firm are looking for an experienced individual to join the team who can hit the ground running.

You must have experience of working in practice and will be confident in the preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.

The position would ideally suit someone looking for part time hours and could work as either 3 full days per week or 5 days per week on reduced hours.

As an Accounts Senior / Accounts Technician your role will be varied and will see you working with a range of clients.

You will be responsible providing Accounting and Tax compliance services to a range of clients including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.

There is lots of scope for an experienced individual to take on a role with genuine autonomy, with you having the opportunity for hybrid working and flexible working hours.

Duties & Responsibilities:
The role will predominantly involve preparing statutory accounts and management accounts
Preparation of corporation tax and personal tax computations and returns
Communicating with clients through a variety of means
Review and finalise work completed by junior staff

Skills:
AAT Qualified, ACA / ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified, Qualified by Experience
Experience of undertaking a varied practice role
Up to date knowledge of all relevant accounting standards
