We are looking for experienced, hardworking labourers to join our team. The work will involve general labouring duties, assisting other trades on sites
Job Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Keeping the construction site clean and tidy, and storing building materials
- Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
- Shifting and lifting heavy equipment
- Digging trenches and building foundations
- Knocking down walls and ceilings, breaking up furniture and fittings, and filling skips
- Mixing concrete, putting up formwork, and laying concrete
- Building and taking down scaffolding and temporary structures.
- Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans.
- Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties.
- Use power tools and machinery when needed
- Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions
Requirements and skills:
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
- Comfortable working at heights
- Good attention to detail
- Familiarity with power tools and machinery
- Commitment to safety rules
- Reliable transportation to and from designated job location
- Flexibility and willing to work as part of a team
- Good customer service
- Good time management and project management skills
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid CSCS card
- Previous site experience
- Full clean driving license and own car
Salary:
£15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Cardiff: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Licence/Certification:
- CSCS (required)
- Driving Licence (required)
