Description

We are looking for enthusiastic and hard working Registered Nurses or ODPs to take on a secondment or fixed term contract to work in our busy Pre-Operative Assessment Unit.

We are a fast paced department and work closely with Newark Pre-Operative Assessment to provide a streamlined service and safe nursing care.

This role may involve some cross site working between the two departments to meet the service need.


The role will involve the assessment of elective surgical patients with a variety of complexities and the onward referral if needed to a variety of other departments such as Anaesthetics, Cardiology, Respiratory and liaising with Primary Care to optimise patients.
