Solution Architect - Oracle EPM Cloud - Banking - £825 p/day - London


Harvey Nash are currently supporting a global Tier 1 Banking organisation with their need for an experienced Solution Architect to help establish the banks next iteration of ledger strategy, and to adopt and implement global standard SaaS / Cloud based accountingand ledger platforms.


The new platform provides enhanced technical capability and supports the banks Finance Transformation strategy and realisation of their Target Operating Model.

- £825 p/day (Umbrella)

  • 12 months (Projected project duration)
  • Canary Wharf (3 days onsite/ 2 days remote)

Responsibilities:


  • Identify, develop and implement new finance processes and drive harmonisation with Oracle Cloud.
  • Support the process to ensure that current and future business requirements are comprehensively mapped.
  • Owning the definition and execution of Close and Substantiation strategy and related workstreams including operating model, process, and controls.
  • Work with existing platforms, Close and Substantiation teams to identify key use cases and user stories for integration into defining the Strategic Close & Substantiation for the Oracle platform and advise on the roadmap to decommission legacy platforms,capabilities, and processes.

Experience/ Background:


  • Previous experience as a Solution Architect for Oracle EPM Cloud specialised on Oracle EPM FCCS and ARCS.
  • Good knowledge on financial consolidation and accounts reconciliation using Oracle EPM FCCS and ARCS.
- in-depth knowledge of financial close, balance sheet substantiation and reporting processes.

  • 15+ years of relevant work experience with global corporations and financial services experience gained in Banking or in an associated consulting role.
