Health Care Support Worker - Gwynedd, United Kingdom - Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board
Description
As part of the Children's Community Nursing Team (CCNT), the post holder will provide care and support to children who have complex health care needs including life limiting and life threatening conditions.
He/she will be responsible for carrying out designated work, much of which will involve direct patient care. This care will be delegated by trained staff and parents.The post-holder will be expected to work under the indirect supervision of trained staff and parents, to provide respite care for children in their own homes, schools and in the community.
Shift patterns will be dependent on the needs of the child and may involve working a mixture of days, evenings, nights and weekends.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
