We are currently recruiting for 2 x Administration & Support Assistant's to join our Transport team within the local authorities.
Duties Of This Role:
- Process of invoices and claims relating to home to school, public transport and social care transport activities.
- Process of invoices for Arriva, Go North East and Weardale Motor Services for scholars bus tickets.
- To provide overall admin support to teams within the Sustainable Travel Group.
- Undertake other administrative functions as requested by the Team Leader.
- Ensure that databases in relation to the above processes are suitably updated and maintained.
- Dealing with enquiries from students, parents, schools and colleges regarding school/college transport.
- To establish and manage the team communications systems ensuring that the Service's procedures, policies, strategies and objectives are effectively communicated to all team members.
About The Individual:
- Must Have previous similar experience.
- Must be able to provide information for us to obtain your previous 2 years references.
- Be familiar with MS Office.
- Be able to prioritise.
- Be familiar with customer service when dealing with the general public over the telephone.
- Must be educated to GCSE's grades 49 (A-C) in English and Maths. (or equivalent).
- Hold an NVQ 2 in Business Administration or equivalent.
