About you


Ensure all appropriate communication and key site messages are delivered consistently, clearly and effectively to promote good relationships and levels of engagement.

Welcome and support all new team members, sharing additional knowledge and information required in order to maximise the new starter experience, capture employee headcounts for a specific work area, ensuring employees are deployed and managed fairly while on shift.

Contribute to the delivery of the main people KPIs for your Business Unit including labour turnover and absence %. Highlight development and upskilling opportunities to support the continuous improvement and personal development of the team.

Take ownership for identifying and resolving physical and technical issues affecting the operation (such as software and defective equipment) within your business unit, escalating as appropriate.

Pro-active reporting of production issues, ensuring all relevant and operational critical issues / incidents are identified and resolved / escalated, to minimise disruption to productivity levels and customer service metrics within your business unit.

Make recommendations for future improvements and best practice.

Ensure that all processes and supporting tasks are completed to agreed timescales and support the achievement of all relevant KPIs associated to the customer.

Strong verbal and written communication and numeracy skills are a must and a passion for dealing with people and a focus to achieve employee satisfaction.

Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance are preferred and previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment are essential.
