Digital Tonic and proud to be working with an outstanding charity as they search for a new Marketing Manager in a fully remote role.

There are monthly get togethers in the South of England and London so ideally you'll be based in the South of the country.

The focus of this role is to communicate the incredible services and support on offer to the Armed Forces community, and so having a strong understanding of this group would be a huge advantage with regards to how to message and reach this audience confidentlyand credibly.

You will form an incredible understanding of this audience through research, focus groups and meetings etc. and will build relationships with GPs, primary healthcare and med centres, where this group may initially seek help.

Part of your role will be toeducate and build awareness of the charity, and the support and services that they can offer.


You will have access to numerous channels to deliver your message, and it will be up to you to establish the most effective delivery methods to ensure the message is heard.

There can be an element of stigma associated with seeking help for physical or mentalhealth issues, and you will craft content that addresses this to encourage those who need the help the most, to come forward.

What experience we're looking for

  • Ideally a strong knowledge of the Armed Forces, or previous experience working with this audience
  • An ability to deliver a healthcare service message to a niche group
  • Broad marketing knowledge across digital channels
  • Good copywriting skills and an understanding of how to message to this target group
  • Campaign management experience
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills and the ability to build relationships
  • Empathetic, and a great listener
  • The gravitas to confidently speak to a variety of stakeholders at varying levels

You won't get much greater job satisfaction than from a role like this, where you can do so much good for people's lives.

The salary is around the £35k-£38k level, but it is only a 35 hour working week, but there is flexible working and the ability to compressthose hours into 4 long days and to have a 3 day weekend each and every week There is also a very generous holiday allowance of 30 days plus Bank Holidays, a good pension and health care plan among other benefits.
