Part time Housekeeper

24 Hours per week

alternate weekends 4 days per week

Evergreen is a small independent care home for the elderly, mostly occupied by private guests. We have undergone extensive refurbishment and an extension and further expansion plans are currently in the pipeline. The home provides residential, respite and day care services. The care industry's leading website recognises us as one of its top 20 recommended care homes in the West Midlands

Your role:

Is to provide Support cover whilst on shift and your duties will include, working alongside the Manager, to provide the highest levels of cleaning, ensuring that all rooms, communal areas are cleaned to the highest standard.

completing all cleaning schedules to ensure all work is clearly documented as completed.

You will also be responsible to ensure that you and other staff comply with all relevant Health and Safety requirements, COSHH and infection control and be alert to a resident's safety.

the shift patterns are on a rota basis, including every other weekend.

Covid 19 vaccination is essential

You will need to have:

Previous experience and ideally a knowledge of working with in a care setting in a housekeeping role.

Qualified to NVQ Level 2 in health and social care
