A vacancy has arisen for a flexible Mobile Housekeeper on a 30-hour contract to join Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust based throughout Hull and East Riding.

We are looking for staff that are enthusiastic, motivated and have good interpersonal and communication skills to work as part of our teams.

The post will be cooking and serving lunches and evening meals for our Inpatient Units.

As well as assisting in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for patients, trust staff, and visitors in line with the National Standards of Cleanliness.

Shifts would consist of 4 days over 7, which would include some weekends. The post will require you to be able to commute effectively and transport equipment over the geographic area.


We are looking for staff that are enthusiastic, motivated and have good interpersonal and communication skills to work as part of a team and generate the provision of a high quality, cost effective food service in accordance with statutory legislation and Trust Policies regarding Health & Safety and food Hygiene.


The post will assist in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for patients, trust staff, and visitors in line with the National Standards of Cleanliness, by delivering a full cleaning service within the centre.

You will be able to demonstrate a degree of skills in food preparation and presentation including textured diets.

The cook will prepare meals and follow establishment recipes. Duties include preparing ingredients, adhering to the restaurant menu, and following food health and safety procedures. Cook, clean, assist other cooks and staff and deliver food in a fast-paced environment.
