Job Title:
Credit Controller (3-Month Temporary Post)

Location:
Blackburn - Hybrid 3 days in office


Salary:
£23,000 (pro-rata)


We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join our team on a temporary basis for a period of 3 months.

As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring timely payment of outstanding invoices and managing customer accounts to reducethe risk of bad debt.


Responsibilities:


  • Resolving any queries related to outstanding payments or customer accounts
  • Liaising with other departments to resolve issues related to customer accounts
  • Preparing reports on customer accounts and credit status
  • Negotiating payment plans and settlements with customers
  • Monitoring and managing credit limits for customers
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and payments

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Knowledge of credit control procedures and regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
