The Role


We are seeking a new colleague to join our friendly and supportive team in IT & Digital Services (ITDS) to work as a Digital Partner.

The postholder will build relationships across University departments, engaging with key stakeholders at all levels and across a variety of academic and professional service areas, in order to understand their unique needs and to act as a bridge between ITDS technical and specialist teams, and systems users.

In supporting stakeholders, the post holder will provide guidance and practical support to colleagues within ITDS and across the University, delivering initiatives and guiding IT and digital-related changes.


To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate your ability to develop strong relationships with senior stakeholders, displaying political awareness and sensitivity at all levels, to achieve objectives and deliver outcomes.

You will also need to be a team-player, with excellent communication skills and a good understanding of the Information, Communication and Technology sector.

Further information
The University currently operates a Hybrid Working framework involving a mix of working remotely and in the office.

Typically, the majority of employees will be able to agree to work remotely for up to 60% of their working week, role dependent, however will be required to attend on specific days for training or team meetings.
